Dungeon 7: The Temple of the Diamond Dragon Map

Dungeon Number 7 is the Temple of the Diamond Dragon.

Although the temple would be bigger than the map used here, I imagine this to be the main temple complex, with the grounds and surrounding smaller buildings not included.

Not a great deal of rooms in this one but plenty of space for some good encounters.

This map and the idea behind it has made me want to fully flesh the dungeon out with history and encounters. Which has made me want to do that for all the dungeons so far. Perhaps ill do that and pop them over on the Patreon page. Include players maps, read aloud text, monster stat blocks and details on traps treasure, etc. Considering I am using the DMG to generate the bits ill stick to D&D for the dungeon. I could even include maps made from the dungeon tiles if people would be interested in that, or a list of pieces needed for the dungeon.

It would be at a low level subscription £3-£5ish and id aim to do at least one a week. Let me know what you think, and if it would be something you guys would be interested in.

Dungeon Creation Information

Location: On a Mountain Peak
Creator:  Humans – Lawful neutral - Monk
Dungeon Purpose: Temple
History: Creators Destroyed by Internal Conflict.

The Temple of the Diamond Dragon stands upon the peak of a mountain, lost amongst the clouds for 5 months of the Year. The monks that inhabited the temple used to teach the Way of the Dragon Soul, a technique that imbued the practitioner with the might, intellect, and durability of the diamond Dragons.

They only took the very best and most capable of people in as students, until one day they closed the gates and refused to take any new students. The Grand master had died and the remaining masters couldn’t decide on who should become the new Grandmaster.

No one knows what happened, but those heavy wooden gates never reopened again, until now.
