Our Eleventh Dungeon is The Prison of the Storm Titan

This is the biggest dungeon we have tackled yet, but it has lots of medium sized rooms and plenty of things to keep adventurers entertained!

Dungeon Creation Information

Location: Beneath a Ruined Castle
Creator:  Dwarves
Dungeon Purpose: Stronghold
History: Creators Destroyed by a discovery made within the site.

This Prison of the Storm titan was built by a clan of dwarven giant slayers. They used a mixture of dwarven runic magic and ancient artefacts to trap the essences of the slain giants, which they used to power not only the portals that they used to transport themselves to the giants lairs, but also the fortresses defences against retaliation from their prey.

Dungeon Environment:

These environmental and atmospheric features should be used to give a general feeling for the dungeon and can be placed in any rooms that you feel they should feature. They can be used as little or as often as you feel is appropriate for your game.

Noises: Ringing Noises, Scratching and Scribbling, Hissing Noises.
Air: Steamy, and Smokey.
Odours: Smoky, Metallic.
General Features: Damp Walls, Slime (Harmless), Broken Arrows, Corroded Chains, Tufts of hair, Pottery Shards, sticks and Cobwebs.
General Furnishings and Appointments: Grindstones, Plain Chairs, Dais, Small tables, Braziers and Charcoal, Large idols, Trunks, Crates.
Utensils and Personal Items: Smoking Pipes, Flasks, Jars, Spoons, Ear Spoons, Razor, Whetstone, Coffers, Parchment, Cooking Oil, Decanters, Books, Tinderbox with Flint and Steel.

Room 1: Audience Chamber

Contents: Empty
Door 1: Double Doors: Made of Dark wood with brass reinforcement.
Door 2: Single Wooden Door Made of Dark wood with Brass Reinforcement.
Door 3: Locked Portcullis
Room Purpose: Used by the Dwarves to receive visitors.
Current Chamber State: Dusty Dirty and forgotten,

Room 2: Generator/ Giant Essence Storage

Contents: Trap & Hazard
Door 1: Single Wooden Door Made of Dark wood with Brass Reinforcement.
Door 2: Single Wooden Door Made of Dark wood with Brass Reinforcement.
Room Purpose: to House the Generator and Store the Giants Essence.
Current Chamber State: Generator is running and is powering the complex..

Room 3: Library

Contents: Monster
Room Purpose: A place for the high Priest to conduct his business.
Current Chamber State: A large desk and a few chairs, Large bookcases, filled with books and scrolls.

Room 4: Study

Contents: Monster
Room Purpose: Research & Recording histories of the Slayer Clan
Current Chamber State: Books, scrolls and maps are spread out over a large table, while acolytes & scribes write in large books.

Room 5: Guard Room

Contents: Empty
Room Purpose: To Protect the complex
Current Chamber State: Empty

Room 6: Armoury

Contents: Monster with Treasure
Room Purpose: to store the weapons and armour of the stronghold.
Current Chamber State: Stocked with weapons and armour.

Room 7: Portal Room

Contents: Monster
Door 1: Locked Portcullis
Room Purpose: To house the portal used to attack the Giants
Current Chamber State: Furniture smashed and thrown around the room, the portal is active, and showing an arctic mountainous landscape.

Room 8: Guard Room

Contents: Trick
Room Purpose: To Protect the complex
Current Chamber State: Empty

Room 9: Throne Room

Contents: Monster, Trap & Trick
Room Purpose: The Dwarven affairs of state where handled here.
Current Chamber State: Dwarven Skeletons in armour are scattered around this room. The Monster sits on the Throne.

Room 10: Interior Courtyard

Contents: Empty
Door 1:
Single Wooden Door Made of Dark wood with Brass Reinforcement.
Door 2: Single Wooden Door Made of Dark wood with Brass Reinforcement.
Room Purpose: Relaxing space with a fresh water supply
Current Chamber State: Empty

Room 11: Gallery

Contents: Trap & Hazard
Door 1: Single Wooden Door Made of Dark wood with Brass Reinforcement.
Room Purpose: Displaying Tablets covered in Dwarven Runes.
Current Chamber State: Dusty, and cobwebbed.

Room 12: Kitchen

Contents: Trap & Hazard
Door 1: Single Wooden Door Made of Dark wood with Brass Reinforcement.
Room Purpose: Cooking and Serving food
Current Chamber State: Pots and pans lay all over the place everything is in disarray.

Room 13: Storage

Contents: Trap with Treasure
Room Purpose: to store mundane goods and food stuffs.
Current Chamber State: Crates are smashed, and the contents are strewn around the room

Room 14: Treasury

Contents: Trap Guarding Treasure.
Door 1: Locked & Trapped Stone Door.
Room Purpose: to house the Strongholds Treasure, including the Essence of the Storm titan.
Current Chamber State: Filled with treasure chests, and coin sacks.

Room 15: Dining Room

Contents: Empty with Treasure
Room Purpose: For dining and holding banquets.
Current Chamber State: Dusty, but the furniture is still present.

Room 16: Guard Barracks

Contents: Monster
Room Purpose: a place for the Guards of the Keep to live.
Current Chamber State: Dusty, and unused it is now used by the monster as a lair.
